The College of Dentistry, with hearts filled with sorrow and pride, joins their brothers in Lebanon in the funeral of the symbol and leader of the resistance, the martyr Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah.

Under the patronage of the President of Wasit University, Professor Dr. Abbas Lafta Knihir Al-Aqabi, and the supervision of Assistant Professor Dr. Hani Mohsen Khalif, Dean of the College of Dentistry, the faculty, staff, and students of the College of Dentistry participated remotely in the funeral procession of the leader of the resistance, Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah (may his pure soul be sanctified), and the martyrs who fell alongside him on the land of honor and struggle.

The ceremony was held on the campus of Wasit University, standing in a solemn and honorable tribute filled with grief and pride, coinciding with the burial of the pure body in Lebanon, the land of heroism and sacrifice. The banners of the final farewell were raised for Sayyed Abu Hadi, who departed this world, leaving behind a legacy of sacrifice and courage, following in the footsteps of his grandfather, the martyr Imam Hussein (peace be upon him). He was martyred at the hands of the vile Zionists while defending free Palestine.

The crowds chanted, “Never shall we be humiliated,” raising the image of the fallen martyr. Figures like Abu Hadi and his men never truly leave; they remain as spirits guiding our paths, present in our hearts and steps, whispering their oath into the horizon—that those who walk this sacred path will never be broken and that the sacrifices made on the land of the free will forever take root across the world.

Rest in peace, you and your heroic comrades. And as you once said, and we continue to echo after you:
“We are never defeated… When we triumph, we triumph, and when we are martyred, we triumph.”

As we bid you farewell, a martyr adorned with majesty and dignity, we vow, “We remain steadfast on the pledge, O Nasrallah!”
