The College of Dentistry holds a practical training seminar entitled Nanotechnology in Dentistry
The College of Dentistry at Wasit University held a scientific training symposium entitled Nanotechnology in Dentistry. Nanotechnology in dentistry. The symposium, which was lectured by Dr. Amal Dasher Hussein, with the participation of the student (Zahraa Muthanna/third stage), aims to define and mention the importance of using nanomaterials in various areas of life and in dentistry in a way. Especially because it has advantages that differ from other substances, as most nanomedicines are administered orally or intravenously and achieve their effects through accumulation in all tissues of the body, including tumors. Therefore, nanoparticles are designed to remain in the target organs for long periods of time and cause minimal side effects. Also, focus on using modern nanotechnology techniques as they provide and guarantee distinctive results instead of old and expendable techniques and methods.
